Inmex Vietnam 2017 was an exceptional meeting point for the global maritime community in Vietnam, a region where the industry remains buoyant and strong growth is set to occur. INMEX Vietnam brought together leading industry players encompassing all aspects of ship building, ship repairs, shipping, maritime engineering, offshore engineering & technology, dredging equipment and ports & logistics.
With more than 300 exhibitors and more than 5000 quality visitorship, the 6th edition of this 3-day event concluded at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City from 29th to 31st March 2017.
Vietnam’s maritime industry has tremendous potential as recognized by many experts in the field. Currently, Vietnam ranks eighth in the world for new shipbuildings projects with 1.3 million Compensated Gross Tonnage. The government’s support and private businesses’ investments amounting up to an estimated US$1.5 billion by the year 2020, the maritime industry is set to develop and grow rapidly to cope with impending pressure from increasing trade.
