壮大家族商业版图 海事业第二代开辟新领域 明辉环球海事总裁林翔宽加入明辉环球海事后，公司曾经历多次的转型与提升。对于积极拓展业务与力求创新的林翔宽而言，公司如果只专注于一个领域发展，将面临一定的风险。 ””明辉环球海事（BH Global Marine）总裁林翔宽在1988年正式加入父亲林日财的公司，至今已陪伴与带领明辉环球海事走过26年。他在该公司的成长里程碑中扮演着举足轻重的角色。 明辉环球海事的前身，是林翔宽的父亲林日财在1963年与三名生意伙伴成立的源合电器五金私人有限公司，主要从事五金电器贸易及进口新产品。但是，随着林日财和董事逐渐步入花甲之年，公司的管理方式和接班人逐渐产生分歧，最终分道扬镳。 让人感到欣慰与感动的是，公司面临拆伙时，所有的员工都选择跟随林日财。 林翔宽说：“父亲一直以来非常尽职尽责，所有员工都十分尊敬他，因此大家最终还是选择跟随他。即使要他们减薪，他们还是愿意跟随我的父亲。” 当年的林翔宽虽然年纪还轻，但他经常与兄长和二姐在放学后和学校假期到父亲店里帮忙打杂，让他逐步对公司的产品与工作环境有更深层的认识和了解。 林家五个兄弟姐妹都在父亲公司做事，林翔宽任总裁，大哥林翰鸿担任主席，二姐林擁瑢管理人事部，三弟林辉鹏任营运总裁，小弟林学宽则负责物流。 林翔宽加入明辉环球海事后，公司曾经历多次的转型与提升。对于积极拓展业务与力求创新的林翔宽而言，公司如果只专注于一个领域发展，将面临一定的风险。 因此，在他的带领下，明辉环球海事在2000年便开始争取企业产品的代理权。 林翔宽说：“明辉环球海事早期都是通过中介向国外的公司买货。但是，这些中介逐渐把价格拉高，导致公司成本增加。不仅如此，我们也失去买货的自主权。于是，我们开始积极争取代理权，直接与海外公司联系。这样一来，产品的价格就变得比较稳定，除了可以降低成本之外，也给予客户更多的保障。” 明辉环球海事是一家为船具商、船主、船只管理公司、船坞经营者和船只维修商提供全面海事电器产品，以新加坡为基地的供应商。公司的产品包括海事电器和海事用品。 家族企业转型上市有利有弊 公司在2005年成功从家庭企业转型成为上市公司。对此，林翔宽认为其中有利也有弊。 他说，公司上市后发展迅速，年盈利增长也十分强劲，公司在各方面也享受到更多的优惠和福利。 “当我们还是家庭企业的时候，客户都会要求我们预先支付一定的金额。而上市企业在这方面就比较吃香，无需预付款项，可以享受更多优惠。” 然而，林翔宽认为，作为一家上市公司，就必须公布企业的盈利和财务状况。他说：“当客户看到企业盈利非常好时，就会向你要求更多的折扣。” ...
